DRAFT for legal review, 1 Nov 2026

Last updated: 1 Nov 2026 (draft, not yet in force)

1. Who is selling to you

This online store is run by Austera Global Pty Ltd. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Austera Global Pty Ltd.

These terms apply when you place an order with us. By placing an order you agree to them.

Nothing in these terms removes or limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Any term that tries to do that has no effect.

2. Who can order

You must be 18 or older to place an order. If you are younger, ask a parent or guardian to order for you.

We deliver to addresses in Australia only. Our Shipping and delivery page has the details.

3. Our products

The law says goods must match their description and any sample or demonstration model. If something you receive does not match, see our Returns and refunds page.

We describe products using the maker's information. We do not claim that any product will stop a crime, prevent a fire, or protect your health or safety.

Some products are inspired by gear from history. We say "inspired by" for those. We do not call a product official, issued or authentic unless it is.

Some products, such as cameras and doorbells, can record video and sound. Laws about recording people differ between states and territories. In Queensland, for example, using a listening device to record a private conversation is an offence. There are exceptions, such as when you are part of the conversation. You must use these products lawfully. [UNVERIFIED: the rules in the other states and territories were not checked. A lawyer should confirm this wording.]

Please follow the maker's instructions and warnings for every product.

4. Prices and GST

All prices are in Australian dollars.

We are not registered for GST. The price you see is the price you pay for the goods. We do not add GST.

Because we are not registered for GST, our receipts do not show GST.

Before you pay, checkout shows the full price of your order, including delivery.

If we find an obvious pricing mistake before we send your order, we will tell you. You can then choose to buy at the correct price, or cancel for a full refund.

5. Paying for your order

You pay through Stripe Checkout. Your payment details go straight to Stripe. We do not see or store them.

Stripe emails you a receipt when you pay.

6. When we accept your order

An order is a request to buy. We accept it when your payment goes through and we place the order with the supplier.

If we cannot supply an item, for example because it is out of stock, we will tell you. We will refund that item in full.

7. Cancelling an order

Email us as soon as you can. If the supplier has not yet handed your order to the carrier, we will cancel it and refund you in full.

If your order has already been sent, you can still return it. See our Returns and refunds page.

8. Delivery

Delivery times and charges are on our Shipping and delivery page.

If a carrier loses or damages your order, we are responsible for sorting it out with the carrier. You do not have to chase them.

9. Returns, refunds and consumer guarantees

Our Returns and refunds page explains your rights. It is part of these terms.

Apart from our change of mind policy, we do not give a warranty of our own about how a product will perform. A maker's warranty is the maker's promise. It is extra to your rights under the law.

10. Items we do not sell

We do not sell:

  • knives, machetes and axes
  • pepper spray, tasers, batons and knuckle dusters
  • flares and gas canisters
  • body armour
  • replica firearms and other replica weapons
  • bottled water

If one of these is listed by mistake, we may cancel your order for it and refund you in full.

11. Our responsibility to you

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

If we fail to meet a guarantee, we are responsible for loss or damage that was a reasonably foreseeable result.

We are not responsible for loss that was not a reasonably foreseeable result of our failure.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited.

12. Product recalls

If a product you bought from us is recalled, we will contact you at the email address on your order.

13. Your information

How we handle your information is explained on our Privacy page.

14. If something goes wrong

Email us first at [email protected]. We want to put it right.

If we cannot sort it out, you can contact your state or territory consumer protection agency. In Queensland, this is the Office of Fair Trading.

The agency can help both sides try to settle the matter. It cannot force us to pay or fix a problem.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms from time to time. A change applies only to orders placed after it is published.

16. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland. This does not take away any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
